1. What We Collect

When you use CommentMine, we collect:

  • Account data — name, email, and profile picture from Google OAuth (if you sign in).
  • Comment data — YouTube comments you submit for analysis, including the video URL and title. These are stored so you can access your analysis history.
  • Analysis results — the AI-generated insights (leads, content gaps, sentiment) produced from your comments.
  • Usage data — anonymized page views and performance metrics via Vercel Analytics (no cookies, no personal tracking).
  • Payment data — managed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To perform AI-powered comment analysis via Google Gemini.
  • To store your analysis history so you can review past results.
  • To enforce usage limits based on your subscription plan.
  • To generate shareable public links when you explicitly choose to share an analysis.

3. Comment Data & Third-Party Content

YouTube comments you submit may contain personal information posted by third parties (names, emails, phone numbers, etc.). CommentMine stores this data to provide your analysis history. We do not sell, share, or use comment data for any purpose other than delivering the analysis service to you.

Comments are sent to Google Gemini for AI analysis. Google's use of this data is governed by their API Terms of Service.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

  • Google Gemini — to process comment analysis (comment text only).
  • Supabase — database hosting (your account and analysis data).
  • Stripe — payment processing (subscription and billing data).
  • Vercel — application hosting and anonymized analytics.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Shared Analysis Links

When you share an analysis, a public link is created that allows anyone with the link to view the AI-generated results (summary, leads, content gaps, sentiment). The raw comment text is not included in shared links — only the processed analysis output.

6. Data Retention

  • Free plan — up to 10 most recent analyses are kept; older records are automatically deleted.
  • Creator plan — up to 50 analyses retained.
  • Pro plan — up to 200 analyses retained.

You can request deletion of all your data by contacting us. We will remove your account and all associated analysis records.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies only for authentication (Supabase session tokens). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookie-free.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your stored data (visible in your analysis history).
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Revoke shared analysis links at any time.
  • Export your analysis results.
